Flashback Time: Gathering of national and international poets at the San Diego Valencia Park Malcolm X Library:

MID ROW: Joe Milosch, Chris Vannoy, Pilar Rodriguez Aranda,
FRONT ROW: Reg. E. Gaines
Update 2026: Still performing from time to time with the above poets.
Currently however, I am performing with various reader's theater groups. Last month, I was on stage with a new semi-theatrical troupe on March 18th at the San Diego Malcolm X Library and we'll hopefully continue as the year opens into a possible regional touring reader's theater group. We are coached by Pamela Britain, a performer and member of the San Diego branch of the national literary organization Write Out Loud. https://sandiego.librarymarket.com/event/readers-theatre-write-out-loud-520163
Director Pamela Britain, Reader/Performers Delores, Alan, Donita
Although we read a few prose selections, our focus for this initial performance was Poetry! We had fun sharing various well known poets' work with a small, but attentive audience. Pamela's direction during rehearsals is a guidepost that helps our onstage rhythmic continuity as we move through various atmospheres and moods in our interpretations.
