Delores Fisher: Voter Presidential Election Day America! November 5, 2024

A wonderful thank you to my Carpenoctum2  (also known as Notesong) blog global new readers ---with a noteworthy hello to all my readers in Brazil, Singapore, Philippines, and Germany.

And an Autumn hello/what's up???? to my regular global followers because we are almost over 50,000 post reads. Yep . . .50,0000.

Here's to another 50, 000 in the next coming months!!!!!!

Today, Tuesday November 5th 2024 is Presidential Election Day here in the United States of America.

Almost everyone is nervous about a smooth transition of power no matter who takes office.

Isn't it ironic?

We, who as a nation used to scoff at other nations' verbally abusive and physically violent political exchanges during cabinet meetings, legislative sessions, judicial rulings and the like, we have now become known as a nation in which aggressive political interaction is the norm among many of our state and national executive/legislative/and even judicial branches of government. Although I must say, the judicial branch is a bit more civil(ized) towards each other. Thank you Supreme Court.

Can we as a nation continue to suffer from a new type of PTSD passive aggressive political physical and digital war zone chaos?

Are our national adrenal identity glands regulating our spiritual, emotional, physical, economic, cultural, political, and moral well being be at the point of exhaustion?

November 5th 2024 will be recorded as a national tipping point during which our torn and distressed nation declares itself as seeking Miseo, Timorea/revenge/ vengeance and destruction  . . . (hatred, revenge, and destruction)

Or, today November 5th 2024 will be recorded as a national tipping point during which our United States of America will declare itself as seeking Agape, Katallage, and sanity . . . (Godly selfless love, reconciliation, and sanity)

May the Lord help us choose in His wisdom,

delores fisher

Part of A Legacy:Calvary Baptist Church San Diego

Those of you following me on Twitter and at The Center For World Music: https://centerforworldmusic.org/about-us/board/ know that I was a pianist at Calvary Baptist Church in San Diego California back in the day. Charles Ray was the organist/pianist, professor Jean Wesson was the music director. I also played accompanied the Calvary Baptist Church Youth Choir under the direction of Carol Durgan.  The church was known as Second Baptist in 1889 on the corner of  1st and B street. It was moved to  the corner of  then Crosby Street, https://www.calvarybcsd.org/history/   now known as 719 Cesar E. Chavez Pkwy. and at this time is following the leadership of pastor Dr. Emanuel Whipple Sr. And this Sunday in September 2012 Calvary Baptist Church had a Youth Choir Reunion Concert at 3:30. The concert was a musical extravaganza! This post is going viral so I must do a 2024 update: Hello Dr. Buchanon. Thank you for reading my post from 2012. I am honored!!!! Jellyfish around San Diego Embarcadero and Broadway Pier

Delores Fisher Blogger on an early Morning stroll Jellyfish are visiting the San Diego CA. Broadway Pier and Embarcadero again. Jellyfish appeared to swarm in this same area in 2012. Although I posted about the Black Nettle Jellyfish in July 2012, this was the first time since that year that I have seen any type of jellyfish in such numbers at the pier. http://carpenoctum2.blogspot.com/2012/08/black-sea-nettle-jellyfish-at.html   However, multiple sightings of similar and other jellyfish have increased since 2012. Several have been posted on youtube. 2015 has been an odd weather year for San Diego with heat and odd rainfall days (despite our drought). It is possible that temperature shifts are part of the reason why jellyfish are in our bays and near our beaches.  Our October weather has been unseasonably hot this early fall, similar to temperatures during earlier 2015 seasonal sightings.  Shannon Handy reported on a North County swarm of Sail jellyfish in May.
