Happy fourth of July.
San Diegans are enjoying this Independence Day commemoration with gratitude. So far, the sun is escaping from behind the seasonal early morning June-July cloud cover that seemed to suspend itself over the city through September last year. It looks as if we will have a SUMMER this year!!
However, I am aware of regions in our nation where people are enduring disruption from recent climatic upheavals. I extend condolences to fellow Americans who have lost loved ones during this year's tumultuous weather.
I also extend my condolences globally. Floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, landslides, tornadoes, and drought seem to be escalating. For those who are posting, know that the blogs, Youtube videos and social network communications reveal multiple aspects of suffering. Continue to let the world understand your story through your lens.
