SANDRA FOSTER KING: DANCER/CHOREOGRAPHER

Sandra Foster King: Professor of Dance, Choreographer and Dancer Sandra Foster King is a well known national artist. She has studied in Switzerland and performed as a guest artist in Sweden. She is also well known in San Diego, teaching at several educational institutions including SCPA(School of Creative and Performing Arts)  http://www.sandi.net/scpa and  UCSD(University of San Diego) http://theatre.ucsd.edu/people/faculty/SandraFosterKing/   She is an intensely creative artist-woman. Her choreography weaves a motor visual tapestry-narrative that reaches into one's soul.  Yet, when it appears in dancer's movements, her humor will tap the shoulder in impish glee or saunter-swag smirk its flow-steps in corners of one's eye. She gives when she creates, expressing her God-gift. Her students absorb this gift and open palms to others. Here is a recent dance concert press release from national dance maven and my friend Sandra-Foster King: This will be a...

Danielle Lo Presti on electronica chill groove-move

Danielle Lo Presti  I've been following this innovative musician for several years now. Her R&B inflected lyrics and heart-song raw-groove vocals are a refreshing tableau of on the real humanitarian caritas.  In an age of too many wannabe's with self-centered lyrics and not enough "I Am Me" conscious singers on today's assembly line replica-plastique music terrain. Joined by the angst-rocker sounds of collaborator Alcia Champion, her unique sonic tapestry continues to unfold as she explores and lights a candle in the dark edges of marginality. Lo Presti "retired" from the music scene to take care of la familia and is now back--as strong as ever. http://www.sayitrecords.com/ True to her innovative inner voice, she is experimenting with a new sound on new media. In her own words from a press release, she started " The Danielle LoPresti (Electronic/ Chill) channel on Jango Internet radio to get an idea of how the general public would rea...
